Safety Requirements


In order to provide the best experience for everyone on the tour, Off Road Tahoe guides hold safety as their highest priority. Drivers are expected to respect the trail and other vehicles and abide by all Off Road Tahoe tour rules. Guides are prepared with first aid and safety equipment.


> Must be 18 years old with valid driver’s license to drive

> Renters must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license 

> RENTER MUST PROVIDE credit card information to keep on file in of case ACCIDENT

> guests are responsible for any major damage to the vehicle

> Passengers must be at least 8 YEARS OLD AND AT LEAST four feet tall

> All riders under the age of 18 require legal guardian signature

> Closed-toe shoes are required

[ Do You Provide Gear? ]

Yes, we provide helmets with flip down visors. Bring your sunglasses!

[ What Should I Wear? ]

Closed-toe shoes are required. Be prepared for changes in elevation and wind chill, we recommend bringing extra layers (long-sleeves, jackets, gloves) to stay comfy all day. 

[ Do I Need Off-Road Driving Experience? ]

No, we have terrain to suit all levels of drivers.

[ Where Do We Meet? ]

All tours will leave from the Prosser Hills OHV Parking area located 5 miles North of Truckee on Highway 89.

[ Are Reservations Required? ]

Yes, we ask that you make reservations at least 24 hours in advance.

[ What Is The Cancelation Policy? ]

Cancelations within 14 days prior to scheduled tour date are will receive a 50% reimbursement. Cancelations within 7 days will be subject to full charge.
